Although it is not common knowledge, there are actually three sides to the Force: the light side, the dark side, and Chuck Norris.

Well, some people might feel that it's cheating and don't want a player made by cheating.

Cheating ruines the challange of the game. Some people work so hard to S/L to produce similar characters (Only fielder) when you can create a instant sucess. Stupid gameshark...

Well you could say the same about S/Led players. Some people consider S/L an exploit. As long as posters make their methods clear, their players be accepted for what they are. However when posters hide how they did it and try to pass off their creations as something else, that's what starts trouble.

I don't have any issue with GS-created players, but I do think GS should be mentioned when posting them.

hehehe well even so you do have to admit that s/l takes a heck of a long time and besides it depends on who's playing right i mean yeah but think about it i like to just get the stats over with and just enjoy the story, besides I had to make a player with out cheat codes about 45 in pwr and 2 trj and i popped one over the fence and plus whoever said cheaters never prospere certainly hasn't ever met me

A couple of things I'd consider impressive/useful even with GameShark:

  • Second Position 4; Since there's no known way to acquire it in Success Mode.
  • Intimidator + Gyroball; See above.
  • DROP (glitched DCB only avialable in MLB Life).
  • Give pitchers any batting form you want. (Not just the ones available from this glitch); Allows creation of more realistic players.

Nice list bro you didn't even shut him down for using gameshark.

I don't s/l EXCESSIVELY since I consider it cheating. I only do it when I've gotten an failed Goodjob surgery or an injury right before a game, or something else that threatens the success of my player. I've had to do it a little more with '08 considering it's so HARD! :x

I would love to use a GameShark, not to make maxed out players but to make realistic players in a short amount of time. I would be using it just for the time constraint, since I already know how to max out players without GameShark(see Who in sig) :)

That would be nice but it would take away the challenge part for me. And I would be tempted to use it all the time.

I'm just getting bored with Success mode. The only reason why I'm still playing it is to finish my Arrange team.

well i mean it depends on what stats you want but i like to use gameshark to create a lot ofcharacters to give to people plus it doesn't take the challenge out it takes some of it down but still i have failed success mode a couple of times with maxed players!
