How do you get the Dr. K ability i've tried getting it from the Dr. K glove but i got some other ability instead

Abilities aren't unlocked from gloves in 2008. You earn them by meeting a certain criteria in games. If you want Dr K, just get a lot of strikeouts.

You can also get from secrets of pitching which you can get from a surprise bag from Jaw.
