I just got my second genius ever in Power Pros! My first one was a pitcher that I screwed up badly on. This one is a shortstop, and I would love tips to make sure I don't screw this one up like my last one. *Shudders*

I kept reloading to get adequate abilities to go by Eric Davis's strategy for a maxed out player, and just happened to come across a genius! Please, any tips for anyone who does well with geniuses?

Congrats mate. Haha, wow, your very lucky! I've never had one in both years. Congrats again, make sure you spend time on this one haha. If only it was a pitcher genius, hitters are allready easy to max, genius or not (with a goodjob, then you can get all the abilities).

Lucky...you got 2. Try to get Jaw asap. GEt the gambler ring and go to the steakhouse. Mabye try sittch.

The e res is a 3 G? I dont think its a genius if it doesnt have all stats above G.

That caught my by surprise, too. I don't get that one. Maybe this is a weak genius?

Anyway, how valuable is Sittch's ninja training? I actually don't do the ninja training, ever.

Is it possible to meet Jaw in week three of the first month? I've been reloading over and over to meet him!

The earliest I have ever met Jaw is during Month 2. Sittch's training is great. You get B2B Hitter, Hot Hitter, Contact Hitter or Power Hitter, +1 ERES, a glove with +1 FLD and +1 ERES, loads of experience points and energy for more carryover points. Even his generic practices are great (after you finish his arc) because each one provides something you can't get in a singular practice: PWR and SPD. It allows you to boost ARM STR or acquire a premier special ability every time you train with him.

I've been trying to go by your strategy, but some things are hard to reload for.

Go find out if he is a genius when you are done, look to see if it says normal or genius, that 3 really throws me off....

Forget the G, it's a Genius. You don't get a D, two Es, and Good Sense in a normal roll (and I'm assuming with no negatives).

There are no negatives. I know it's a genius, like odawali said, you can't get these abilities with a normal roll.

Do you really need to bother with the gambler's ring if you have a genius?

And I just took a break from success mode, went and experimented a little in season mode to take my mind off my anger, came back to success mode and got the gambler's ring on my first try back!
