I myself (and i'm sure at least a few other people, i hope  ) Want to get success down. I was wondering, what are some general tricks and tips? To BEAT success, what do you do, overall. How many times do you do such and such action? I'm not looking to make a super, steriods-injected player (yet  ). i just wanna complete success. I've tried once, and i didn't even start a game in AAA. So, any advice?

buy a prince's necklace and you should be fine in AA.

To play in games in AAA, you have to practice at the beginning of Year 2 in the practices where the coach is at until the coach's eval gets up to the "AAA starter" line.

No need, it will be wasting money
I suggest getting your control and Power up (not to mention trajectory too) for batters, that way homeruns are easy to get
Well, at least get 6 eval points, and scout eval will follow next
No need for training, that is your choice
for pitchers I suggest getting at least 1 breaking ball for the first match, and stamina too
check SmilingFaces96's log for pitchers, and Richard Autte for fielder

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has it's own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of the mystery everyday. Never lose a holy curiousity

If you want to make a very good player with only a little bit of effort, a guy who would basically be a star by the game's ratings then if you follow a few guidelines you should be all set:

1. Save occasionally. I usually only reload when a player gets hurt.

2. Stick with drills for the first couple months until you play you get into the starting lineup. Go to the drills the coaches are watching whenever you see them. Make sure you don't neglect coach-watched drills when you make the starting lineup either. You're going to need those points when the second season rolls around and you want to be starting games right off the bat.

3. Load up on carryover chocolate. I usually wait until May so I can buy enough to last me through the end of the year. Make sure to save before going to the store because sometimes it doesn't show up as a purchasable item. Just reload and it should be there. The carryover chocolate is tremendously valuable IMO - it's basically extra turns to go get more points or run through story lines.

4. Don't stink in games. You can make things a lot easier for yourself by looping singles into the outfield rather than power hacking at everything you see early on.

5A. If you want a starter with good endurance or a batter with great power then make sure to do the steakhouse random event in its entirety. Not only does it end up boosting those abilities a ton but you get some cash too.

5B. If you want a high control pitcher than make sure to do Siitch's storyline. He gives out a ton of mentality points and they can be tough to come by as your control starts getting higher and higher.

Do all that and it should be hard not to end up with a pretty great player (by normal standards).

I think this is the most important factor in passing the game. You get more coach points and scout points in one game than in any other situation. You may get a couple scout points in practices every now and then but it's not guaranteed. When I started out I would have players with great stats but then I would go hitless in a game and get fired.

Do really well in your first year games, you may only need to practice once or twice to start in AAA

10 Scout points a game should equal 6 coach, so in the AA, you should already have about 50 scout and 30 coach. That is one of the most important factors in this game.

Are you sure? If I remember correctly, my first ever Success Mode player needed 6 or 7 practices to pass (I barely made it) while some of my more recent chracters barely needed any.

Yes, I'm fairly certain it does carry over.
