Well, I'm about to start my first Pitcher in success mode and I read the Wiki page which was very useful. Are there any other pointers I can have? I'm open for anything. :D

I would recommend reading smileys log on his pitcher in the password exchange. It makes you look at the game a little differently. More like you can actually make a plan and follow through. Decide in advance who you want to date. Patty gives you gyroball by about Feb year 2 but takes about 23-25 actions to get. Lucy and EMily take less. Not sure what EMily gives (think it is random as many posts say different but I think it is star and battler). Lucy gives intimadator and Dr. K.

At the beginning focus on events that boost energy (you will get more turns in the game the faster you get this up). Also for the same reason go see Bison for some carryover chocolate
and goggles. I find stitch training is good early on, you get energy stats and abilities.

You don't play in the first game but will 4 weeks later. By the time you play you should buy the psy goggles (helps you see what pitch the batter thinks you plan on throwing). You should also make sure that you have a breaking pitch. THe next important thing is try to boost your stamina so you will last longer in the game.

Their are many random encounters but if you want a great player some seem to be more important- The most important to get early (at least if you do not mind s/l) is jaw the private investigator. he will give you jobs and if you complete them with 2 weeks left (3 week job completed on the next week or a 2 week job complete right away) you get a surprise bag which after many reloads (sometimes less) you can have anything in the game and the first thing you would want is the gamblers ring then books like SoP (gives abilities) and later wax for you r glove to boost top speed. Dr. goodjob rarely shows up but you better save often so when you fail you can reload without a lot of minuses. I have had 5 fails and 1 good. The thief and the doctors glove thief are also nice but it is important to try to get them the first week as the rewards are far greater. ex: for a hitter thief gives $1575, cannon arm and increase throwing. (can't remember what I got fot my pitchers)

Frank's, ghost, marvin, terry,Isabella ..... RE's are nice but I think the others are the most important random encounters.

Hope this helps. Remember that you have to do well in the games to score alot of coach points and points for boosting stats. This allows you to not have to practice for coach points and try all the arcs instead.

Pitcher, eh?
Okay. first go to the steakhouse.. and like eat at that place almost every 2 months.
The will boooost your stamina largely.. so you can stay in games longer..

I only use Physic googles once.. I never needed..
All you need to do to strike batters out is a breakin ball... put the ball as high as you can on the strike zone and it will eventually breaks to the bottom of the plate and the batter will miss the ball every time:D
only save the game when you get at least 6 coach and 13 scout.. if you pitch at leasta 5 and get at least 3.. you would get that:D

if you want to date lucy.. remember to give her heart pendant as a Christmas gift on Dec 3week of 1year.. and win the 2 games vs jonathan.

if you see goodjob, be prepared for him to screw you up if you accept, but if you get a successful operation, you'll be in fantastic shape.
just saying.

8/10, it's good for a first pitcher, but go for a couple less pitches and improve the break of the pitches you have.
however, that is great for season mode, that you don't have to waste time learning pitches, you can just improve all those.
top speed should go up a bit.
also, try for sittch's or patty's arc next time (orig. pitch or gyro, respectively)
if you need help for any guys, you can just ask me.

You'll also want to put more emphasis on improving your top speed. If you manually improve it to 90 mph and save up at least $3000+ at the end of the game, you'll be able to get 100 mph or so with glove waxes. The more money you have left over, the more waxes you can get.
