I finally rolled on a genius. I was so happy.. I did really well even though I didn’t even see JAW for the entire game.. 
But then this came up..
I spent nearly all my time in AAA dating Patty.. and the likability page showed that the bar is as high as possible… Still I didn’t GET anything from her at the end…..
Here are the other questions… How do I get to meet Dr. Goodjob?? and How do I finish dating patty successfully??
Haha.. I am waiting for a genius for a hitter.. hopfully. It comes soon..
Here are the stat for my new pitcher.. only the 2nd one I made..

4 original (crazy pitch that breaks soooo much…..) pretty impossible to hit..

3 sinker
Hot head.
Good Reflex
Good in the later innings..

Groundball
Good low ball pitcher

How can I get more of those abilities..

- Jaw and/or the Gambler's Ring help to get more abilities.
- Dr. Goodjob is totally random and pretty rare. The two times he tracked me down I was at the Park, and both times it occured during the offseason, but I believe he can show up anywhere at any time.
- Do remember what your starting stats were for Genius? Approximately? I'm curious.

You probably started dating Patty too late. There are events in Year 1 (AA) that need to be triggered in order for her story to conclude.

date patty in AA to meet during christmas, give her a bear i think to get an easy GR.

Jaw can net you SB to reload for GR/Secrets books which teach abilities

pursueing the frank/siitch arcs can get abilities

goodjob is totally random, i would recommend not reloading for him, but if you do.... good luck

also S/L before games or events to get the best outcome can help too

The starting stats are
Control 115 E
Stamina somewhere in the 60s D
with 1 sinker and 2 changeup...

My top speed at the end is 96mph.. which is not soo good...

dont worry, its not too bad, i blew my genius fielder last year and my genius pitcher this year but i dont have much fun playing maxed out guys anyway so its all good

so a genius is like a normal guy with a successful dr. goodjob operation?

My starting stats for my genius were

Top Spd: 83
Ctrol: 120 (D)
Stam: 50 (E)
Good Sense
Pitches: CB (2), SNK (1)

no.. a genius is like a guy starts out with crazy stats..
in stead of having starting stats around G..
A genius has most starting stats around D or something even a C...

They START OUT with average stats (D's and C's), and if you've seen my Expansion Team Thread, you'll know that my players end up with D's and C's.

they start out with E's and F's, with an occasional D. Pitcher also have a lvl 1 and 2 breaker.

The batter I am working on now..
just beat Johnathan in the AA championship..
but still can't date Lucy??? she is not on the street anymore.. where she should be??
btw.. what can I get from her??
is there an event I need to do to finish her arc?? or just max out her likeablity bar??

From what I can tell (maxed her out 5 times) she gives nothing to pitchers.

But gives a few abilities to hitters (maxed out once)

She's usually at the vicinage.
