Can you get this ability in Success Mode?

vs runner 3 is the max for this stat.

You can't. There is only Runner 3 and Runner 2(Negative)

You probably have it but it's just the default ability where it's neither blue nor red and it's just like all the w/risp 3 fastball life 3 poise 3 etc...

Edit: look at this picture and see how all the other abilities are blue but vs. runner 3 is not it'll look like that and you probably don't notice it...

Unless you have VS Runner 2, you have the default VS Runner 3.



You can't because there is no blue ability there. Here is why.

VS Runner is (originally) an ability that reflects how good a pitcher throws from the stretch. In real life, some pitchers have problems doing that, leading to diminished control and/or speed, break on their pitches. That's why there is a VS Runner 2.

What if a someone pitched from the stretch better than the windup? Doesn't he get a VS Runner 4? No, because then he'd be throwing from the stretch even with bases empty, for example like Mariano Rivera.

Therefore, you can only be neutral (3) or bad (2) VS Runners.
