Post subject:  Success Mode is extremely frustrating!

Hi,

Perhaps someone can help. I came to this forum looking for a walkthrough of the 2008 success mode, and while I found some decent tips, I did not get what I was really looking for.

I would be more than willing to do some work on the walkthrough, if it meant people would be willing to pitch in as well!

I like this site a lot so far, especially the lineup change threads, but I think a success walkthrough would go a long way towards making it more complete.

Thanks,

There can't be a "Walkthrough" for success mode. Unless you're willing to reload tons of times to get the same random events and the same performances in games.

I think he means a guide that shows when key events are and such...There's one on the wiki for last year's version not sure about this year.....

I know in the '08 part there's a link to a timeline. Might just link to '07 timeline. Just like with the items.

Wouldn't this go in the 2008 Success mode board?

I don't know when the events are in success mode really.

Nice chart Warning_Track_Power. This should help new success players alot, since the main thing to worry about getting started is making sure you advance your manager and scout ratings to a point where you avoid being cut and also advance to being a starter ASAP.

After you have that part down, you are free to concentrate on making a better player by S/L methods, and trying to get the REs you want most to advance different storylines. This chart should take the "fail" out of success mode for the most part, since it shows you the monthly schedule and prepares you for game/practice weeks.

Did you look at the log of my player in my sig? I'm not really sure if it's a guide but if you read through it a little before you play, that should give you some general ideas

It doesn't really matter to me because of the gameshark codes. but i will use the info for backup.

I'm like a guru in Success Mode right now, but I use to suck.

if you post a maxxed out guy cuz of gameshark, make sure to mention it. Some people might want honest success guys without cheats (like me)
