As a pitcher it's always giving me fastball life. Does it go like: if you don't have the ability it gives it to you and if you do it gives you the next one? Because I've reloaded way too much for this to be a coincidence.

nope.. it can give both abilities randomly

Must be a glitch. I've literally reloaded over 100 times for it.

i s/l for maybe almost 1-2hours, and it ALWAYS gave me fastball life, only time it gave me spin, was when i already had fastball life.
its prob a glitch, since last year, it actually did have a chance of both.

I have noticed the same thing for 2008. I have reloaded for over an hour as a pitcher and a hitter, and all I got was contact hitter or fastball life. I believe you may be correct, unless somebody else has done it in MLB 2008. Obviously if you have one of those, then you get power hitter or spin.

As a batter.. it keeps giving me contact hitter when i didn't have it.. but after i got contact hitter from sittch, the book gave me a power hitter instead.. I mingled with it for a bit, and tested what it would give me if i already had both contact hitter and power hitter.. turns out it becomes "un-usable" and you can't even sell it..

Same case for the pitcher.. i kept on receiving fastball life when i haven't acquired it.. and gave me spin when i HAVE iFB life already.. x.x

Might not be a glitch.. i think Konami made it this way..

Does this have anything to do with your fastball lvl and breaking ball lvl? I mean for contact and power its easy to determine. Mabye if you have more contact than power at that time, you would get contact. Its a theory, someone needs to prove it.

I don't know for the Pitchers... But I've had more Power than Contact and received 'Contact Hitter'.. And I've also had more Contact than Power and received 'Power Hitter'..

Hmm so mabye that theory is correct. I think pitcher you need a formula.......
