The first time I played Success, the pitchers all pitched "normal". This time around for some reason, they all do the more complicated pitching where they start their aim at one point, and swiftly change to another.

I just wanted tips on how to combat this. I am seriously getting pwned by Sittch out there, since every hit I even get on him, just become ground outs, and his team can hit anything my pitcher throws at them.

Well, you're on your own on the hitting. I don't have any tips for that, but for pitching, use pitchers with good fastballs and this may sound strange, but just throw only fastballs down or near the middle of the strike zone. The batter will get on top of the pitch and hit a groundout just about every time. The only batter who can hit anything you throw at him no matter what is of course, Sittch.

For hitting go for the pitches up in the strikezone.

I do that in every mode of the game. If a pitcher throws a sinker or a curveball up and in the zone, it's as good as gone.

Yeah, I hate this game. Every hit I pull off on Sittch becomes a fly or ground out. Every hit they get on me are doubles or triples. I'm just taking a loss. GoldenApples blow.

LOL. Thats another way to do it I guess. Be prepared for a lame ending if you purposely throw the final game, but it really doesnt affect your final stats/progression aside from not getting many points for the final game if you have a poor showing.

I find the final game fun- especially if Im using a true power player, or a pitcher who can duel with Sittch. It puts some challenge into the final task of making that "perfect" success mode player. :D

The thing i try to do is wear sttich down. Usually if you take some balls and get foul tips he can be out by the 7th. Once he is out you have stopped two threats, one of his good pitching and another of his amazing hitting.

For pitching, put nothing up and in the zone, pitch chg down and you will get tons of ground outs.

Breaking balls down in the zone are staples in this game for Groundball Pitchers. It works for anyone who's not a B+ to A power hitter (otherwise... kiss it goodbye).
