What's the lowest velocity you guys have gotten for a character? I want to know because I want to make a player that has around a 72 mph fastball, and from my past experience I've never gotten below 77 mph. I really don't want to go through success mode, but since I can only add him to my season mode by making him through success mode I have to. Also, I have tried to just get injured to bring the top speed down, but whenever it says top speed has been reduced by 1 it doesn't drop and when I failed a goodjob operation it said it dropped by 2 mph but it only decresed 1 mph.

the lowest i ever got is 75, but you could go through mlb life and pick strengths weaknesses to get as slow a fastball as possible

Yeah, but I'd have to get really lucky and get the 3 right breaking balls that I need. I may end up doing that if all else fails.

in MLB Life (off-topic), you can pick "junk ball pitcher" and get 2 lvl 1s and 1 lvl 3-4 pitch (sometimes a knuckleball)

Okay, hopefully I wouldn't get a knuckleball though, I don't want one for this guy. I'll try it out later tonight and see how it goes.

You could make a position player and level up their pitching.

Impossible, you'd never be able to obtain "breaking ball" points as a fielder.
