| Post subject: | am i doing something wrong? |
i typically dont see any advantages to dating or getting "tough out" type abilities. i usually just practice like hell and do well in games. where is room for improvement? what can i be doing to creating better guys? Ive created three guys so far. my 2B- 3trj, 13con, 174pow, 13spd, 8arm, 10fld, 11err(dr goodjob help) rf- 2trj, 11con, 177pow, 14spd, 13arm, 8fld, 9err lf- 4trj, 15con, 215pow, 11spd, 7arm, 7 fld, 7err |

Well you should consider having more apporpriate stats for your outfielders since the someone hits a SF they need the xtra arm strength to throw it home....and shotshops and 2nd basemen are usually more defensive unlike 1st basemen who usually have horrible defense |

The dating and outside jobs have fantastic payoffs if you complete the storyline, but focus on clearing Scout and Coach eval first. Clearing both of those should put you in good position. From there, perform well at games (the better you do, the more points/abilities you get), and take care of the other various events. (The Steakhouse is a personal favorite: 4-5 Stam/Power per visit, for free! Really helps in the later stages of the game.) Each of the girls can give you special, powerful, and otherwise unobtainable abilities through thier storylines, so it's worth it to pursue them to completion. |
