In the game you play Sittch, is there any extra benefit to your character for winning the game?

More points, an ability?

More points. And some good endings (re: Lucy) requires you win the last game. More importantly, the sastifaction of beating him.

An ending that doesn't make me want to vomit.

Can't we all just agree that both endings for the sittch storyline are pretty lame? The best ending is losing to the Wild Jokers in the last game and then not having the scout ranking high enough to go pro. Sure your character gets wiped, but it's hilariously dark being rejected by your father and then immediately having your dreams crushed. You pretty much have to try to game over there though.

I thought you do get an ability when you beat Sittch? I got Vs Lefty 4 after I beat him. Lucy gave me something else, but I forgot what it was.

Sometimes you get abilities from any of the games.

Just like in MLB life, the better you perform, the meter goes up more. You may have just gotten that 1-2 hits off a lefty to get the ability.

So this is basically the equivalent of last years all-star game, right? And you get a lot more abilities from games instead of events? I wouldn't know, I'm not back home for a week before I can start playing MLBPP.

I was the pitcher for the game, and that was the only time I actually got an ability.

I actually have to disagree. The game is actually a bit harder because you only have two years to get your character ready. Usually, I would end up with fielding characters who had perfect fielding, but this time, my quota wasn't met and I had to settle for some who could have been alot better.

I think he's talking about the last game. That's a shame then, I always loved the challenge of the All-Star game.
