Contact - A Power - A, or a high B Arm - C Field - B Error Resistance - B Speed - B contact hitter, tough out, etc. |

I'd give him a high C or low B for Power. He hit 361 HRs in his 15 year career. Contact - A (as high as possible) Power - low B Arm - high C Field - B Error Resistance - B Speed - B |

Shouldn't some creat a standard to go by? Eamples: John Doe hit 400hr for his career that would mean he should get 190-210 power? BillyBob career batting avg 290 that would be B? Wouldn't this help when creating reallife players, past and present? |

You know, like .290 AVG = C batting, stuff like that. |

I know I'm still a newbie around here, but if there is such a list, may I suggest it become a sticky somewhere? |

I made one recently, just for myself to base some stats off of. I just studied what konami would give players, I'll post it later sometime if I find the list. |

Well this is what I got for the averages...I just need to find the paper with the omeruns now, also the homeruns are just single season, not career. .350+= 15 .340-.349= 14 .320-.339= 12, 13 .290-.319= 10, 11 .260-.289= 8, 9 .220-.259= 6, 7 .200-.219= 4, 5 .175-.199= 3 .100- .174= 2 .000-.099= 1(I use it for pitchers that can't hit only) Now, I had to do a little bit of guessing when it came to E and lower, but the A,B,C, and D are one's that I got pretty solidly. Now, if the average is on the edge it could really go either way. |

I say 14 would be 333-349, which makes 13 up to 332 |

I completely forgot to put in there 12 and 13, I'll add it in a second. Quote: I say 14 would be 333-349, which makes 13 up to 332 Maybe, I'll look over the B contact ratings again later and see what the highest average is. |

Well I found the paper and figured I'd post the HR #'s. I just based these off of what Konami gives people. I may touch them up sometime, but I probably won't be around here as much anymore so I figured I would post them now. 30+=A 18-29=B 11-17=C 6-10=D 1,2-5=E 0=F 0=G(pitchers only, but I did see one position player with it this year and last year) |

A power needs to be more like 40 or 45 Homers. |

lanceberkman wrote: A power needs to be more like 40 or 45 Homers. I'm just basing it off of what Konami gives people, not what they do in a simulated season or anything. This stuff is all based off of what konami gives people, and A power ranges even down to 26, and 27, even 20 for Posada. So, no it shouldn't be 40-45 with what I base it off of. |
