Total noob question but i really do not understand the concept of a genius player and a normal player can anyone help me out? |

It's total luck to get a genius. A genius is a character that starts with the Gd Sense ability AND good starting stats. |

You could probably reload for a few days straight and not get one. Better to just make players and get one by luck |

i've made around 50 guys from 07 and 08, none of which have been a genius plus i'd say 10 of those i reloaded about 10-20 times to get GD sense |

Is there actually a distinction for these players or are they just at the upper end of the curve for the stats you can get? What I'm saying is, is there a smooth, continuous curve of stats (bascially a bell curve) and these guys are just at the extreme end, or are most of the players in one section, then a big gap between them and the 1% of players that are "genius" players? |

I made about 60 last year and 1 this year but no genius. I heard somewhere it is a 1 in 1000 chance to get one. |

About 100 tries here with no Genius. Here's a strange fact. The VERY first character I made in MLBPP 2008 was a Genius. I didn't even know what Genius was. All I know is I played him without S/L and had avg stats since I knew nothing about Success mode. I finished him up in Success and ported him to My Life which is when I saw "Genius". Didn't know what it was and went looking for an answer. That's how I found this board. Was never able to make another Genius. |
