Finished! I haven't had a chance to take any photos yet, but Blackbeard is pretty effing sweet. He looks like Jeff Reardon, only more swashbuckly with his wild hair and gold hoop earrings. #00 looked right when I was playing around with his profile, and I think I made him a 21-yr old rookie born on Halloween.

I could have pushed his Shuuto to 6, but I opted for a maxed out 2-seam fastball insted. Everything else went as planned: 105 / 188 / 222, 6 breaking pitches (5 maxed), all the pitching abilites, the afformentioned hitting/defensive abilities, 3 TRJ, 224 PWR, and 15's everywhere else. I took Blackbeard for a spin last night and he now holds the record for "the longest homerun hit during a perfect game." His whopping 521-foot blast at PNC Park cleared the Left Field Rotunda and rolled to Cincinnati.

How did he pitch?

He threw 9 perfect frames against the Reds, with 19 K's on (I think) 86 pitches. The closest they came to a hit was a come-backer that carromed off Blackbeard's kneecap to the SS. Have any of you guys ever opted for the Slider + More Break for your Original Pitch? That's Blackbeard's Cutlass pitch. It looks like a screaming banana. Jay Bruce fouled one off his shin and had to leave the game. It's a cool weapon but it's more of a novelty pitch. You literally can't throw it on the inner half of the strikezone because it breaks from the RH batter's face to the middle of the plate.

I'll get Blackbeard posted this weekend, along with two of my favorite maxed out hitters: Cal Cronus, a left-handed hitting C/3B/RF, and Frito Concepcion, a SS/2B/RF with a 90 mph fastball, 85 control, 105 stamina to go with Poise, Fastball Life and Groundball P.

After I finish with Bryce Harper, I'm going to create the key rookies and other young players missing from 2008. I already have a list of hitters I will post for feedback in a different thread.

That's Amazing! Except the HR would probably float down the Ohio River to Cincinnati, not roll. Otherwise, GREAT PLAYER! Lance is going to be happy.

I AM happy! Can't wait to import him.
