the gyroball in 2008 doesn't move downward (according to sittch's gyro).. unlike in 2007..

So has anyone, managed to cut corners now?

by the way, during the first time (the very first time) you meet Patty.. you have the choice to:
1) Work at the Ducks
2) Do not work at the ducks

Do you have to pick "WORK at the ducks" to trigger the entire Gyroball Arc? or can you skip this one and still get through the gyroball arc? What did you guys do(to those who got the gyroball)?

So I was dating patty and I'm at this point. Ben's injured so Patty took over, and no matter how many times I work there it doesn't advance at all. Am I stuck here? I can't get hot dogs or date her anymore. I have her and Lucy maxed.

Can you enumerate the decisions you made (or the steps you can remember) that led you to this point? Because I'm not sure if the "taken" over by black dog event happens randomly or a consequence of a decision..

That makes me a little curious too.

ben got sick and I told patty I can work there, then I didn't check the hot dog shop for a few weeks because I went to practice to get the coach's eval up (Feb YR 2). Then when I want to go back to date patty, a yellow hair girl icon replaced patty's icon at the hot dog shop and it was taken over by Black Dog store #2, and I can go a 2nd time to eat the Black Dog's organic dog for $6 then the hot dog shop disappeared.

But the weeks I went to practice I didn't pay attention to the hot dog shop so I don't know when it changed to the yellow girl icon.

Has anyone completed this guide with a Batter/Fielder? Sorry if I missed it earlier in the thread if it was already posted...

If patty gives you gyroball for a pitcher, what about fielders?

I finished her arc long ago on my catcher, and she gave me nothing at the end but some equipment. I already had most every skill though, so she might have offered something that I already had.

When I came back online after being away for the weekend, I couldnt believe that you guys had piled so many pages onto this thread and found gyroball I also was surprised it wasnt Emily, and it was Patty, since I finished Patty before, and got nothing, but I realized I finished her on a fielder, not a pitcher.

So gratz on finding Gyroball, now it just sounds like we gotta figure out how to get it without crippling a characters stats by dating so much and not doing jaw or much practice.

Has anyone figured out if you can get jaw AND Gyroball in the same success mode season? Sounded like they were exclusive to me since jaw and ben both want to use the street to open their arcs.

You only need Ben to show up once at the street, and its very early in the arc. So just get Ben's RE at the street and then get Jaw to show up after that. No problem.

Cool, so you can get both Jaw and the Patty arc.

But do you have time to actually do any of Jaws jobs? It sounded like to get Patty up to full and run all the REs for her it takes at least 13+ weeks of dating alone.

I'm curious about how much stat boosting and surprise bag grabbing you can do while also running through Patty's story to get gyroball at the end.
