His SS range factor is almost a point higher than banks.

He is no doubt a better fielder, but I still prefer Banks. Plus, Banks really carried the team on his back and stopped them from being a last place team. I'm really fine with either of them, but I prefer Banks all the same.

How do you get that he is a better fielder?

.969 Field % for Banks
.940 Field % for Honus

Are you basing this on some other statistics? Ability to get to the ball?

I'm basing it on range factor. Which is a much more reliable statistic than fielding percentage.

How is that calculated? Is it an objective or subjective calculation?
