For realistic players. You seriously haven't noticed this whole thing with everyone making real players yet?

What I meant by that comment was that generally speaking when people are creating their success mode players they do not generally go after negative abilities unless it is for players resembling their real life counterparts

I actually figured out how to get clutch 2 from a random event last night. When Marvin says he found this mysterious stone online, and you get the option to buy or not buy. Choose to not buy it, everytime I've declined to buy it my clutch ability has gone done to 2. Although the only problem with this, is that this event doesn't seem to come up all that much(at least for me it hasn't).

I've confirmed you don't even have to hit home runs to get Power Hitter in a game.

Just constantly use power mode? I got power hitter in a steakhouse event.

This is somewhat off topic but since the steakhouse has been brought up...

The last steak in the steakhouse storyline, I remember 2 possibilities I think:

1. A moderate power increase, Power Hitter gained.

2. A high power increase.

I'm not quite sure about how to get 2, it doesn't seem random, maybe it occurs when you already have Power Hitter. Can anyone confirm that?

I got the moderate power increase and got power hitter...

If you have sampled all three steaks, you get the full amount. Same goes for the rest of the steak arc. For each steak you have sampled, you get one more PWR point (2/3/4) per scene, steak eaten or work.

I have to disprove this - I just struck out 9 times over the course of my Chase HEadley creation (all swinging, with power swing on) and didnt get it.

4 Ks against the Gigantes, 5 Ks in the last game against Sittch's Sharks. There may be some exception, or perhaps Ks int he final game don't count. That game has altered rules for controlling all players, so that's my hunch.

What other abilities did you have? Just curious if maybe that might have done it?

There is some sort of internal gauge that goes up or down from game to game, but once it’s up, it’s tough to get it back down – especially as a pitcher. It always seems my entire 2nd season is spent walking hitter after hitter until I am removed from the game. You get the negative walk ability, but it’s easy to erase. As a hitter, a couple of 0-4 games can buy some breathing room, but sloppily bunting your way through the 2nd season is the easiest way to avoid those pesky special abilities.

That's one thing I've never done(strike out against Sittch to get Timely Whiff). I rarely ever even play against Sittch, so it probably does not count. I guess it should be strike out 9 times before the game against Sittch, because I do that and it works perfectly everytime.

That doesn't have anything to do with the last steak that I'm talking about, though, and I already knew that.

I only got Power Hitter once (Dan-O) and it was through Gambler's Ticket, I didn't know you could actually get the ability from steak. I knew you got PWR, but I didn't know about the actual ability.

It's when Terry comes into the steakhouse, try the steakhouse arc next time and it might happen...
