When I do success mode this is what I do:
Weeks 1-4 Feb Weight training March week 1 hot dog-> brings vitality up by 1/2 March week 2 Will do Siitch's training (If making maxed player save/load around here for detective guy March week 3 Franks arc started March week 4 hot dog (choose to not work at ducks) end with full vitality April weeks 2-3 (week 3 to carryover events) so doing weight practice 3 times (game against Jokers week 1) Week 4 initially boost trajectory by 1, increase contact by as much as allowed. then use rest for power.
Generally speaking you should end up with a character if starting with ordinary stats to have at least 2 trajectory, 4 contact, and between 50-85 power. If starting with a better character (i.e. 2 trj, contact 3, power 72, you could end up with 3 trajectory, 5 contact, and 105-110 power. Sometimes I might sacrifice contact for extra power. You first game usually try to drive in at least 2 RBI's or 2 homeruns, or hit each ball successfully. I usually only do siitch's training to the third one, where he gives you the glove, if doing a pitcher I will complete up to the last event, or if going for a maxed character I'll play the arc out. Generally I look to complete the ducks arc and steak lady's arc.
Pitching though pretty much same deal. Though I complete Franks arc, and Siitch's. With exp points allocation I allocate points to getting 2 clicks on a breaking ball pitch and put the rest on top speed and control and use game points and arcs to bring stamina up.
