I only used the hospital as an example of how going after good short-term outcomes can prevent players from discovering potential storylines or events. IF a player didn't know about the Thief rewards, he would reload after getting Insomnia and never find out about the larger benefits of meeting the Doc. Luckily in this case, there were enough users willing to waste a turn going to the hospital so we know about the Glove Thief event.

However, not all cases may be as obvious. For example how many people would play through a failed Goodjob operation? Or select one of the other treatment options when you meet him? Again, these are just examples that there could be unturned stones out there.

There are alot of bad options haven't tried yet.

Or the first time when you go out to get 8roast ball. Usually you say yes, but has anyone tried saying no and see what happens? The bad part of chosing no, is you probably can't finish the Frank Arc.
