That post doesn't count as "Useful" because it's basically saying the exact same thing as me minus some information.

Sorry I can't think of anything for star.

I figured out how to star! But sadly, it seems impossible to get star AND Gyroball with the same character, I need to confirm it later today.

I'm having the same problem with Gyroball/Intimidator. I'm not sure it is possible to get both. Which seems pretty stupid to me. Everytime I get the Gyroball event, Lucy's picture disappears from the vicinage.

Do you already have Lucy maxed out? I know the weeks that Lucy and Patty require presents are different during Christmas time, but can you give both of them presents?

For Lucy, you have to visit her at the Vicinage on week 3 Dec.

If you have Patty's rating up, on week 4 Dec, she will automatically visit you then for the Christmas date.

So yes you can get both.

But for some reason, the two RE's keep cancelling the other out.

The furthest that I came to getting both, I had both maxed, and I had the option of either going to Patty's last Re for Gyroball, or going to the Vicinage to make Lucy my girl. I chose to try to get Gyroball first. When I returned to the free time menu, Lucy was gone and never returned. And, I had just dated Lucy before that, so I know that I didn't just let her slip away. (like sometimes will happen if you don't keep seeing her)

I will try messing with this a little longer when I get time.

You know, I think you have to roll the event where you overhear Terry admitting he's got an injury. That seam like a pretty decent arc to try. He's talking with the GM, and you overhear them talking about how he'll have to quit the team due to certain problems. SInce it's the closest thing to Alvin's injury arc in the last PP, maybe this'll work?

What about Emily?

So... how do you get the 'Star' ability? I don't need/want to have it with Gyroball...

I think it's you guys turn to find out, I found gyroball and now Star? Anyways after many times of trial I have compiled that from these 2 EVENTS their is a 10 percent chance of getting it.

Dude, I work 10-12 hours a day... I dont have the time to "find out" how to get these abilities myself, or it will be next seasons game before I figure out anything. Thats what teh internets is for...

So if you figured it out, Im sure theres a few others besides me who would appreciate being let in on the trick. The purpose of this whole forum is to share information and make the game more fun for everyone, so dont hold out on us- help those of us without much time to be able to find some of these hard to get abilities, and of course get some credit yourself along the way for discovering it.

I'm still curious on how to get alot of the green abilities like slugger, star, gd eye, patient hitter, etc...

Could this repeat itself again? "I found Gyroball!" (Lie) "I found gyroball!!!!????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"(Truth). "I found star but I'm not telling anyone!" (Lie???), what's next?

i've gotten kind of far in terry's arc. I got good small ball and good morale from him once, but i failed and lost it.

You can say I lied but when I post up a picture of getting it, you will eat those words.
