ya know even if Dr.Mario shows us the pitcher.. we still don't have any single clue on how they got the gyroball in the first place! And i'm guessing his brother isn't gonna help us either..

Btw, about the star ability...

I haven't gotten it myself but i do have some suspicions on what RE might trigger that skill..

There's an RE at the park when you're dating Lucy.. A couple of kids will be playing baseball at the park and lucy (with you) will play with the kids.. After approaching the kids, one of the kids will recognize your character as a member of the AAA Golden Apples.. and after that, you play baseball with the kids and i got a "+11" likability with Lucy..

I haven't S/L that much to the point of getting a "star," but this event COULD give you the star ability because i rarely get to see this event and it could be possible since this RE is compatible to getting the "star" ability..

CAUTION: This RE may also trigger while you're still at the AA Green apples.. and the kids WON'T recognize you as a baseball player... after that I never triggered that RE again with my character even after i got into AAA.. If anyone is gonna test this out, i suggest you wait until you get to AAA and S/L like hell if you wanna see the star ability...

This is just a theory guys.. i can give no guarantees but this what i think.. so i'm sharing it..

Phew, I thought you were going to say he lost the game and you didn't have the player. If that were the case, even I'd question the validity of your brothers gyro-ball. I've have too much experince on other forums to not be some-what skeptical, but I won't make any judgement either way unless you either say he disapeared or you have him. If you don't, it doesn't make much of a difference to me. There's no way for me to be sure if your telling the truth or not because I don't know your charcter to well as my only interaction with you is through this forum. It appears that you are honest from my other experinces with you, but again, I don't want to judge. Get it in if you can (and hopefully soon because I'm curious), and if not, oh well. My view of you will not lower either way.

That makes a lot of sense.. I've had this event come up about 4 times now and I've played baseball with them each time.. I haven't got any ability from it yet.. Plus Lucy seems to be the one that shows off her baseball skills to the kids. Maybe NOT playing baseball with them (like a real star would probably do) is more likely to give the ability?

Has anyone tried Marvin's treasure cave?

Tried it.. the "Shiny" object that Marvin thought was the treasure at the end of the cave?
