hey guys. havent been on here in forever. haha. ive been playing though!
question, how do you get a gamblers ring..ive been reading you can do s/l with jaws and through pattys arc. is there any other way? im trying to get an all A character and its frustrating trying to do this haha. any help would be greatly appreciated!

That's definitely the easiest and most reliable way to get one.

After you get a jaw job, do the 2 weeks dog job. If you complete it, you receive a suprise bag and s/l till you get it simple ;p This is the easiest.

so after i find the dog and get the surprise bag do i save before opening it? and reload and open if its not a gamblers ring then reload and keep doing that until it is one? cuz ive done that just not saved before opening, i would open and since its not it i reset and tried to find the dog again... i must be stupid. haha.

Basically, if you haven't saved already, do so when you get the surprise bag, come back, open it, and if it's not there, press quit, not save and quit, and repeat until gambler's ring appears.

It usually only takes 20-30 minutes of S/Ling to get one.
I once got two Legendary Players of Baseball in a row though.

I got two Gambler's Rings in a row when I was S/L for a Secrets book...

haha nice! i finally got it! yeah, it only took me like 30 min. which felt like forever!
the only thing i didnt know is that i could break. almost saved with it broken haha.

i have one more question though...didnt wanna start another thread as im sure there are already like 892739483204284092802 of these but when you have the ring, do you just either do a random event or work out once then s/l trying to get an upgrade? and save after that and repeat? or what. right now im in year 1 around april or may and my guy has trj 3 and everything else at E. i just messed around and maxed out his power and had lots of blue abilities but the other areas were at like C or B. how hard (or easy) is it to make an all A (maxed out) character. and if its possible than can you get all the abilities too?

2 good logs are Eric Davis 44's log (incredibly in depth), and mine (for Rykel Soriano, though I can PM you a more complete one if you want).
Playing well in the games is still important, and you can get tons of points from them.
Basically, though, just practice a lot. Sittch helps quite a bit too, especially w/ mentality and technique.

Man tried for 30 + mins last night and didn't get it. I had the different books for 7 straight s/l

Don't worry, you'll get it, and don't forget the second Sittch ninja training event for getting 'Good Sense' ability. You may have to reload quite a bit for that, too.

Which is the second event? Is that the one were you start over with the shell game (which is the real me?)
