It used to also be Arrange teams, but then mine died because I couldn't get the PW's up. I'll start posting again on my Hawaii Islanders thread if I:
a) get all the PW's
b) somebody requests one of my guys.

Sorry for the ad.

For a first pitcher he is good especially without s/l alot.

However, if you want a monster pitcher, check out Smileys log and I am showing a log (not as detailed as his) about a pitcher that starts with standard abilities (his is with poor sense). The key is many events have free abilities so you can get most of the abilities by pitching well in games and the arcs (frank, stitch, ...). This way you use yout points on the basics, ctrl, top speed, stamina and breaking pitches.

You should have picked 1 pitch early to focus on and then you would have done well in the games and had more points to work with.

However, for a no s/l good character.

Well, I ended up making into the majors rght before the playoffs in my 2nd year. This what my guy looks like.

Top Speed: 85
Control: C
Stamina: B
Type of Pitches:
2 Fastball
2 Sinker
2 Forkball
1 Changeup
1 Slurve
1 Curveball
1 Screwball

From a scale 1 to 10, 10 being the best. How did I do?

While there's definetly room for improvement, he's pretty good for your first time. I just glimsed at smiley's log and I already found that really helpful.

Not bad, but try to have a level 5+ pitch instead of a few mediocre ones. He can develop with time in MLB Life/Season. It's a good start, and once you get more experience you should be grinding out success mode players like a machine.
