Instead of constantly doubting that this is true and making negative comments, wouldn't it be more prudent for you to figure out where your error is by maybe doing a players log.

I would be happy to analyze it.

Of course, I guess it is possible that you did get the one version of the game disc that doesn't allow Intimidator on the Lucy Arc. Nah, that couldn't be it.

So the requirements are different for pitcher and hitter. I've done the arc for a hitter twice and got abilities both times. As a pitcher it's been over 10 times and I never got anything.

Lucy clarification (if anyone wants to add fine but noone has specified what to do specifically):

Win the 2 games against jonathon.
Go to vicinage for dates- park is best after a great game (also can go here everytime unlike patty) she calls you a hero and it really boosts her likeability. After a date (depends on your likeability) you are given the opportunity to fess up (to liking her). When your likeability is high enough when you fess up she says she is happy and then it says she is your special friend.

Here is where more testing might be required. After that you may need no more dates. HOwever, I do a few specific ones just to make sure.
3rd week in december go to the vicinage and she says she is buying soimeone a gift -she is getting you a shirt (you will need a present to give her). This gives a huge boost in likeability. Another time I see her is later in year 2 after a great game to get another boost. I end up around 80% and still get the abilities so you do not need to be maxed out.
She gives Dr. K and intimidator. However, I usually already have dr k, form using the glove in games. Did get it the one time I did a no s/l character where I did not pitch good enough to get dr. k.
