Just got my second successful operation for a fielder. I didn't sign the first time, but that may not matter.

I guess this makes 255 CTRL in pitchers entirely possible.

Great Info!!!!!

The pitcher I just completed Smiley :), had a succesful one signed, then I ran into good job again, but failed the operation the second time.

I tried saving and loading for him to appear which I am generally successful at doing so, but couldn't get him to come back up. I eventually got tired of s/l for him and moved on. I did this on multiple occassions, when I was able to Progress without losing any Carryover Points, which was basically the 1st week after every game during the second year (week 2).

I think the next determination for Goodjob should be what weeks is he most favorable of appearing. From my experience so far, intuition would tell me towards the end when other RE are less likely, but based on the players I have created, so far, the only times I seem to get him to appear is during the early months like march and april.

Based on a quick analysis of Smiley :) if I were to remove the one GJ, and devote more time to raising control versus working on pitches and fielding stats, I would only be able to get the control up to 230, so without multiple Goodjob's, it may not be possible to reach this feat as was stated by O.

I would have needed 5 more successful signed control stronger good jobs to have maxed my character out from 180 CTL to 255. (5 *15 = 75).

Not necessarily. You'd also be getting STAM boosts on every op meaning fewer visits to the Steak House. The saved turns can be used for control boosting.

BTW, if you know the exact boost amounts for operations, please fill in the rest of the table on

So, here i finally leave the complexity out of the calculation and I get called on it. Yeh, I probably could reduce the number down due to the experience points also received from the GJ as well, at least 3 more CTRL points per GJ. Still though, the point I was trying to make was that I don't believe it is just 3 GJ's to get you there. It is going to be more like 4 or 5 which oh my, I can't imagine.

Well, for one I don't check the password exchange for strategy info (if at all), and no one's added it to the wiki either.

Plus if this were a well-known fact, I don't see why reaching 255 control would still be such a big deal.
