When a ball gets passed the opposing catcher, but not far enough passed that the third base runner can take home, the catcher gets the ball and throws out my runner at third EVERY time! The runner will attempt to advance even if I don't tell him to, so I have to think quicker than I can in order to get my third base runner back to the base before the catcher throws me out, and I have NEVER gotten back to the base in time yet.

If it's a catcher with a good arm, no hope. What I do, or what my brother does actually, is if the runner has at least 10 speed, he'll go half way, go back, then go forward immediatly after the catcher throws it to third. Safe every time.
