The craze of updating rosters has destroyed the integrity of the players of this game. RIP in peace.

Well you're free to use it if you want. Personally I would prefer getting players to where we want in a timely manner for my own purposes.

..but not everyone has Dolphin or the capabilities to do this anyway, so no I wouldn't say it'd destroying anything.

Wiki said you can use Gecko Codes with the emulator
“Features of Dolphin include the ability start games regardless of region, record tool-assisted speedruns,[41][42][43] and cheating with Action Replay and Gecko codes. Dolphin supports real Wii Remotes via Bluetooth.[44] Its expansions, such as MotionPlus adapter, Nunchuk, Classic controller, Guitar, Drums, and Turntable, are also supported.” Wikipedia said.

okay so I can't add more than 5 URL's in one post. To start off, here are the links for the programs you'll need, along with the emulator and ROM.

http://www.7-zip.org/- dxdiag your computer if you are uncertain on which data size your computer uses (32 or 64 bit)
http://www.poweriso.com/

dolphine emulator is what you should look up
and the MLB PP 08 thing is on the romulation website

If you're looking just to play then you won't need to look at the directions below

MLB PP 07 thing is on the romulation website

*See post above for first step of this*

So here is how I was able to add the codes:

Once those are download and you have extracted the game files, you'll need this wii code app called "Ocarina." I searched for the original site and that download link was removed (or I couldn't find it). Here is the download link I found: http://www.mediafire.com/download/8j0h6lctypzgw9w/codemgr1.2.zip
Take the 3 new downloaded files and put them in a folder on your desktop.
And here is the list of codes for MLB PP 2008: http://geckocodes.org/index.php?c=RL8E54

Now on that site, towards the top center of it, you should see a drop down menu with "Subcategories: 1 (9 codes)".
To the right of that drop down menu, you'll see two sets of letters: "(down arrow) TXT" and "-> GCT".
When you click the TXT button, it'll download all those codes onto a NotePad document; keep that to the side.
When you click the GCT button, it'll change the format of the page.
Now you'll want to click "Add Codes"; that will be right above the word box.
Now check off every code. When you do that, then click "Download GCT". (Unless you have a program that I don't know of, you won't be able to open that file)
Now go to your downloads folder and take the GCT file out and put it on your desktop should be labeled as "RL8E54". (I did the more complicated way for this part, but let's see if this way is faster)
So now that you have the GCT file, go to the dolphin menu.
Right click on the "MLB Power Pros" banner.
A pop up menu will appear. Click on "properties".
You'll have 6 bars at the top.
Click "gecko codes".
On the bottom, simply click "download codes WiiRD database".
You should see all 9 codes appear in the box.
Have checks in all of the boxes next to them; besides the Top Speed cheat (top speed will be stuck at 49 if selected).
Close out of that and go back the main menu for dolphin and click "Config" settings for dolphin. (Should be right above the MLB PP banner and has its own picture icon)
When that opens, it'll be in the general section. stay in that section!
Go down 3 check mark boxes.
That option (third one from the top) should be labeled as "enable cheats".
Make sure that is checked off.

Now if this way worked, you'll have all the cheats in your game!
Just let me know if this way didn't work, then we'll have to do it the manual way.

Enjoy!

I have figured out how to use the mouse as the nunchuk stick:

When you have the dolphin menu open:
1) Click on "wiimote" (on the top right with its own picture icon).
2) For those 4 wiimote slots, the first one should say "emulated wiimote"
3) To the right of the first one, click on "configure"
4) On the right hand side, towards the bottom, you should see an "extention" section.
5) make sure nunchuk is selected from that drop down menu
6) Click on "configure" (right below the drop down menu button)
7) In the "stick" section, you'll see "up" "down" "left" "right"
8 ) Middle click (click the mouse wheel) on those four
9) Now that those are empty, right click on "Up"
10) Now there will be a giant list, scroll down to the bottom so you can see the 4 different "cursor" motions
11) Select "cursor Y-" and on the right side, click "select". You should see it appear in the word box on the bottom
12) Click "apply" and then "ok"
13) Now right click on "Down"
14) Scroll down to the bottom again and this time click on "cursor Y+", then press "select" again
15) Click "apply" and then "ok"
16) Now right click on "Left"
17) Scroll down to the bottom again and click on "cursor X-", then press "select"
18) Click "apply" and then "ok"
19) Now right click on "Right"
20) Scroll down to the bottom and click on "cursor X+", then press "select"
21) Click "apply" and then "ok"
22) make sure to leave "radius" and those other boxes alone. don't enter anything

Now the +'s and -'s might seem backwards but they are not. Now your mouse should be the nunchuk stick in the game. Be aware that the mouse will scroll over on commands in the game. It does get kind of annoying haha

For connecting a Wii Remote to emulator:

Connect your wii remote to the PC with blutooth.
Now when you open up dolphin, you click on "wiiremote settings" (I think that's what it's titled as).
There will be 4 slots (for 4 wii remotes). you make sure the bottom 3 have "none" and the top one has "real wii remote."
once you do that, click that red button behind the battery case and at the same time click "refresh" on the pop up (should be towards center of it)
I constantly kept pressing 1 on the remote so it could stay blinking.
It should take about half a minute until it connects

This video is probably more helpful haha

Great stuff, jag. One thing: I recommend using the classic controller instead of the nunchuk. This will allow you to navigate menus with the WASD controls and play games with the mouse. Basically, do everything as listed, but select "classic" instead of "nunchuk" in the extension section. Then, set the d-pad controls to WASD, and set the left stick using the steps listed above. You also have to set up the A, B, L, and R buttons manually, so just set those to whatever you want.

Just to make sure everyone knows how to do this, here's how you install Dolphin and play the Power Pros Rom on your computer (just straight, no codes; sorry if I'm hijacking the thread, jag):

NOTE: This is not how to set it up using codes; jag's steps earlier can help with that. For doing just this, you will NOT need powerISO.

1. Go do https://dolphin-emu.org/, and click on the Download tab
2. Download a version of Dolphin you're comfortable with using (I personally have the latest stable version, 4.0.2, so that's what I'm going to use for this example). Choose the version of Windows you use (either x86 or x64), and save the Application to a folder.
3. Open up the .exe file
4. Install the emulator to your preferred location using the installer. Dolphin should now be installed onto your desktop.
5. Go to the romulation link posted earlier and download the Power Pros Rom.
6. When downloaded, it will be a .rar file, which can be opened using 7Zip. Use that program to open the .rar file.
7. Extract the iso/rom file from 7Zip into a folder. I personally open up Windows Explorer, and drag it from the 7Zip program into a folder there.
8. In Dolphin, go to File > Open, and navigate to the Power Pros rom. Double click, and the rom will open.

You have now installed Dolphin and the Power Pros rom, and you can play it on your computer.

Hope this helps!

Uhhhhhh, all you really need to do is "dxdiag" you PC from typing it in the start menu search bar. In the "computer processor" row, it'll say which bit data size it runs
