I couldn't find this anywhere. Does anyone have a list of the BEST starting pitchers in 08? It's important to me because I play on the hardest settings (everything on POWERFUL) so I need good pitching.

Usually, it's the aces for the teams, Matsuzaka, Beckett, Halladay, Santana, just to name a few.

carlos zambrano is a beast, especially after you take away some of his unnecessary red abilities.
i had to edit a bunch of guys, though, so lincecum, cliff lee and dan haren are much better.
that, and johan santana is incredibly underrated in this game.

Regarding Johan Santana, I'm not sure how "underrated" a guy can be if he's making more than 10,000 points per season. I would agree, though, that he's a very good pitcher.

The salary for him in my Season Mode log is around 22000 points.

i gave him 6 slv and a few more abilities, including intimidator. he IS pretty mean up on the mound...

Few people can hit him well, which gives him that Intimidator ability, I would think. He has the ability to go full games and STILL be a threat throughout. In terms of ability, highly underrated, but good nonetheless. But yes, overall, Lincecum, best pitcher in the entire game, hands down, Brian Wilson, also very good, though you need to switch his slider to a cutter. Cain, meh, pretty heads on, though he could use Intimidator himself, he is a beast, though few even pay attention.

I'm a huge Lincey fan, but anyone who has watched Roy Halladay and Johan Santana pitch during the past 8 years would probably disagree with you.

I read an article once about how Johan played MVP Baseball and studied the batters hot/cold zones to strategize on how to pitch to them.

That is probably the funnest way to study a player I think. LMAO!

I mean, it's studying AND having fun at the same time, best wayto learn.

But honestly, I'm not saying Halladay and Santana aren't good, I expect Santana to get Cy Young this year for NL, but I still think Lincecum is the best due to his size and his ability to match above the major league level like Santana and Halladay.

I also read an article about Lincecum where stadium employees think he's the batboy.

Actually lance, that was at a minor league stadium. At AT&T, we all recognize him, he's a cool guy, very friendly and modest. he doesn't let the fact that he's a Cy Young winner get to him.
