Don't know if it's been posted already but...A new Nintendo DS was announced, and with it was a new Power Pro's game. Don't know if it's Japan only, but it was announced, looks to have a Success Mode, and is 3D (sort of)

Here's the video, which mostly contains games for the new DS, but somewhere in the video there was some gameplay shots of the new game. Hopefully it comes to America...

ya they've always had success mode on the japanese gameboy versions. question is will it be included in the stateside game next year.....if there's even a game next year..... :?

Sweet good find about the game i am probably gonna just DL it because i dont really follow the Japanese league so the game probably would not interest me.

BTW the new DS is called the DSI and it is thinner, has 2 cameras, SD slot, Built in media player.

I read about the new ds. It's basically a clamshell ipod touch with large speakers and wifi capability. new ds has built in camera. slated to come in 2009 in US. can't play GBA games unless they get an adapter.

The DS is basically a very stripped down version of MLB Power Pros 2008 but with online mode. Apparently the controls aren't as smooth (but still above average) yet their is no success mode, no MLB Life Mode, and worse of all, no season mode. All that remains is Practice Mode, Regular Game Mode (exhibition, 1 game), Play-Off Mode, Arrange Mode (only with current players), Home-Run Derby (boiling down to hitting the B button at the right time) and Online Mode.

Is it wi-fi mode or online mode?
