Bunting for a base hit? Got a guy with excellent speed and Bunt Master ability. I've tried both bunting with and without having big swing on, but still cannot get an bunt single. Anyone have any advice / |

What about Grt IF Htr? Try someone like Carl Crawford also. I think I've done it before, once with the IF back, which really helps if you can place it properly and bring the bat down in time |

Be sure you are squarng around after the pitch is thrown and not before. That way you are Drag Bunting. |

That's even harder. I've even tried to bunt to get the infield in, then pull back and swing at the last second, but that hasn't been very successful either. |

If you're going to prep the bat in advance, aim to the triangle between the charging 1st baseman, pitcher, and catcher. If you're going to try to spring it on them, down the 3rd base line (hard not to go foul). I've done it w/ Furcal and Pierre using both methods, but with a very low success rate (I usually cheer when it works). Mash the B+Z for every ounce of speed you can. |

recently i've been trying to do a fake full swing to bunt with victor martinez because the infield always moves back for him. I've only done it successfully once. |

I can bunt for hits all the time with guys like Crawford, and even DeJesus once in a while. My tip is to go to the practice mode and just bunt bunt bunt. That's how I got good. |

It's not impossible, but I have done it. I'll try practicing and see if I can get better at it. |

It's just like learning how to foul off pitches (and not off your foot). Practice makes perfect. I even have a chance at slugging knucklers now ![]() |

I made an arrange team with all the players with A run speed and some B and in practice mode right now I'm getting bunt hits like crazy. ![]() |

One of my tips is NEVER try to bunt a high pitch. Unless you are super good, the bunt will result in a pop-up. ONLY bunt LOW pitches. Usually, with Crawford, they throw the ball to the blue weak spot, and when they do that I bunt it for a hit. |

2 outs bases loaded. since shoppach was up to bat for me I decided "heck" and I bunted. but this was like a perfect bunt, I mean it landed just in front of home plate, and when they threw to 1st safe! |
