| Post subject: | Strange Run Speed |
Whilst playing MLBPP on my friends Wii I noticed something odd. Robinson Cano had 4 stolen bases and has the same run speed as Eric Byrnes, who stole 51 bases! Ian Kinsler stole 23 bags and has D run speed. And James Loney has A run speed! Is there any explanation for this? |

Special abilities can't possibly make a 47 stolen base difference on the same run speed though... |

And besides, even in real life, two players can have similar speed, but different stolen base numbers. For instance, JJ Hardy is a shortstop and is decently fast. And yet, he only has 8 career steals |

I find it ironic that you bring this up, because Cano is usually regarded as a low-hustle player in real life, while Byrnes is considered a high-hustle player. |

I know this post is not exactly current, but just want to mention that I appreciate it. I only recently noticed that James Loney has A speed, and I just don't remember him being a fast player. Maybe he was expected to be fast back in '08. |
