Which console should i get for the game?

I'm going to respond to your issues in order:

1. Nor do I, and I have no proble with success mode. With the over exaggerated facial expressions, you can get a sense of what's going on.

2. No shops out of Japan sell Japanese games. No big name shops, anyways. The Internet, specifically play-asia.com, is your friend.

3. I didn't either, but from playing, I do now!

The hex edit thing . . . I can edit the hex no problem, it's getting the hexed file back onto the PS2 MC that is the issue. Easy if you can mod your PS2 - not easy if you can't. What does hex editing allow you to do? As i might consider getting a modified ps2(quite popular in this region of the world).

Hex editing allows you to change player stats, birth dates, salaries, rosters, uniforms, etc with relative ease and is MUCH faster than editing the rosters manually. Plus, you can't manually edit birth dates and salaries, which sucks.

Yes if you look around the forums for tips on american games. It will definitely help you with the japanese ones. Goodjob is the same, eveything is pretty much the same except for the ranking system on players
