So, this I something that I thought of that might be cool to incorporate into my log (whenever I finish making the players). So basically, you come up with a player and I edit them in to replace one of the "Greats" in the game. The rules are as so:
1. Pick a "Great" to replace. Obviously, picking a guy that already starts is more desirable, unless you really want to be on your favorite team.
2. Make a name. Only restriction is that the last name you choose must be pronounceable in-game. It's a huge pet peeve for me when they don't...
3. Try and be as detailed as possible when giving the appearance and age.
4. Only one player per team. (I want to end up with one edited guy on every team)
5. I'm gonna do something similar to what Zero came up with a while ago with a point system to determine a players stats.

Hitters
You start with straight 1's across the board and 50 power. You have 1000 points to spend. Upgrades are as followed
Trajectory- 50 points
Contact- 10 points
Power- 3 points
Run Speed- 10 points
Arm Strength- 10 points
Fielding- 10 points
Error Resistance- 10 points
Blue Abilities- 100 points
Refined- 200 points
Intimidator- 300 points
Red Abilities- 50 points
Secondary Positions- 50 points

Pitchers
You start out with 40 stamina, 70 top speed, and nothing else. You have 1000 points to spend, but only 50 can be spent on pitches. Upgrades are as followed
Top Speed- 25 points
Control- 3 points
Stamina- 4 points
Basic Pitches- 3 to buy, 4 for each upgrade
Advanced Pitches- 4 to buy, 5 for each upgrade
2SFB- 5 to buy, 6 for each upgrade
Blue Abilities- 100 points
Dr. K- 150 points
Gyroball- 250 points
Intimidator- 300 points
Red Abilities- 50 points

I'll be Great Buck of the Rockies.

My guy's name will be Nick Carter since my last name isn't pronounceable.

Appearance will be face 5 (skin color 1), hair 20 (color 4), brown eyes, red bat, black glove, and red wristbands. Age should be as low as possible.

I'll spend 300 on Contact Hitter, Throwing 4, and Gold Glover.

Get fielding up to 10, arm strength up to 10, and contact to 10. That should cost 60 if I'm correct.

Then 200 on Refined plus have SS as a secondary position for 50.

Hopefully I calculated that correctly. :)

Two questions: 1. Do you want your primary position to be the same as Buck?
2. If I calculated correctly, that should cost 820. Do you want the remaining 180 to be used to boost speed, power, and e res?

Also, I slightly edited the starting stats for hitters, so plan accordingly

1. Preferably he would be a SS, but I wasn't sure if we could change it or not. Then 3B would be the secondary.

2. Sure, that's fine.

Yes, Power Hitter.
