This has been an issue in 07....1st exbition game, 3rd batter, draw a full count WALK on 1st pitch. when did that ever happen in 07.

The consensus over at Operation Sports so far seems to be that it's marginally improved over MLBPP 07', but walks are still relatively rare.
Hopefully early impressions are underestimating the number of walks.

To improve your chances at it, you'll need to practice slicing balls foul (like fastballs up and in, but still nagging the upper corner of the strike zone, I went to a buddy of mine to practice it, and walks are coming in a little better. I drew 3 walks in an 8 inning home win.

Were you going against an ace or a 3 or 4 starter?

2 walks off of Sheets, the third off of a reliever that I don't remember.

It seems more realistic that someone like sheets would walk two and a 3rd starter more like 4 a game. Anybody faced a 3rd starter yet?
