It's not that big a difference, but it will definitely cut down on HBP. When you move the cursor when batting, the batter doesn't move from left to right, he stays in one spot. |

That may change batting dramatically. I think it's easier to hit the ball with the sweet spot of the bat in MLB Power Pros because the hitter's flyin' all around the box. If he stays planted in one place, that could make it a little more difficult, most notably with inside pitches. |

If you notice in the videos, you can see the batters quickly shifting in the box as they swing, closing their stance to reach pitches on the outer half. It's much more realistic that way. I think the only thing it will change is now you wont have the ability to get beaned on any inside breaking ball. |

It's one of my top ways of getting guys on base, and Success Mode in 2007, the opposing team (World Gatherings, Champion Rings, etc.) would bean my batters like crazy and helped me win. I hope there's a way to still get beaned like crazy. ![]() |

A lot of people complained about no walks in last years game, but being able to move into the pitched cured it for me, so I guess if they didn't fix the no walk thing a lot of people will be mad because we can't even get HBP anymore. |

Man...that's bad. HBPs saved me quite a bit of my season games in 2007 ![]() |

It is definitely a hit to my success mode strategy too. I hope at least this season your success mode team will at least have more than two guys that can hit. |
