I want to edit in the 2012 Brewers in place of the 2008 ones, and use them in season mode. I'm not quite sure how to do hitters, and I don't quite understand eric davis's post about pitchers. Can you guys help me out with this project?

I could help you out a bit? Do you just need help understanding how to read ED's posts, or helping to actually make the players?

I need help knowing what abilities and stuff to give players. I can use the eric davis post, but I might need some help reading it. Then I have to do batters/fielders, which I'm not sure what to do about.

For pitchers, you can tell which abilities to give players using ED's spreadsheet. If you can transfer the text to a spreadsheet program (i.e. Excel) and change the settings to use comma delimited format (tell me which spreadsheet program you use so I can tell you where to go to do that), and it'll make nice, neat columns for ya.

For batters, I use ED's 2011 hitters update (page 3 on 2008 General Discussion, near the bottom). The players are all on separate lines, so use the Find function on your internet browser to find the name, and the abilities are listed in the order that they are in-game (TRJ, CON, PWR, etc.).

I'm getting along fine with the pitchers. We'll have to see about hitters.

I have the ratings I gave Brewers players that are relatively new since then (such as Taylor Green, Eric Farris) whom Eric hasn't done the full abilities for in that update since they weren't in the majors, but just let me know if you want help with stats or abilities.

Alright, I got the 12 pitchers copied down, now I am going to pick and choose what fielders I want. I think I'm gonna leave Mat Gamel out, and put Hart at first base. But Alex Gonzalez will be healed, and so will Lucroy.

Why would you leave Gamel out? I know he's injured, but you could put him in Triple-A or something.

That's what I usually do with injured players. They get first priority in AAA when I edit the rosters.

I don't like Gamel.

So, I got 9 fielders, and am just going to leave the rest as is. I don't care about backups, except I've got Nyjer Morgan as one. I am going to go get going with that pretty soon!

Anyway, I've got all the stats copied down into my handy dandy notebook, now all I have to do is go in and edit the players when my sister gets off of Netflix on the Wii...

Do you guys know how I could replicate Zack Greinke's 15-0 home record? Any abilities?

To my knowledge, I don't think there is a specific ability for that.

Yeah, I don't think there is either. You can, however, replicate his record in his stats.
