So, I made a guy in Success Mode, named Will Adams. He is in my Massives log. He has 15, or 16 run speed. I'll explain in a second. Plus, he has stealing 4. I was playing the Astros, and tried to steal. J.R. Towels, their catcher, threw me out. He has B arm strength. Wouldn't an A speed with stealing 4 player beat out a catcher with B arm strength? The pitcher had release 3, so that wasn't a factor. Also, in Success Mode, once you get run speed to 15, you can keep upgrading it, unlike others where it stops. Does this mean that you can get 16 or even 17 run speed? Or is it just a waste of points to upgrade it once at 15? I know this requires a lot of knowledge to answer, I'm just curious. |

Then it would be a waste if you always used the same shoes. It wouldn't be if you eventually replaced them with shoes that help fielding or something, if they exist, I don't remember. |

This is true, like how early of a jump you get. I always change how big of a leadoff/jump I get depending on the situation and how ballsy I'm feeling. |

Yeah. You keep pressing the steal button while there on base and they'll get a great jump. That is probably what brewers did wrong. |

But if you do that, you get picked off easily, don't you? |

It's also pretty easy to get out of a rundown. The pitcher will throw over and I'll just make a fool of the fielders while they try to get me in a rundown I'm already back at first. |

I always get thrown out in rundowns on All-Star. |

I play on All Star and I do fine. I usually don't get in to them though. |

Powerprosfan31 wrote: Just pay attention, and it'll all be good Once you press the button to get a good jump, you're forced to steal, regardless, aren't you? Can you press the buttons to steal, and then sit on the "return to 1st" button in case the pitcher throws over? I can't seem to get that to work. |
