Post subject:  Possible Project coming soon...

I'm going to try to make updated 2012 rosters for each team (not sure what I'm gonna do with the Marlins, though. I've already decided that they will play in Panpaka Park, since that's closer to their home stadium's...looks) in my MLBPP08 game, deleting all of my current Arrange teams, and using ED's 2012 pitcher (and hopefully batter) abilities updates to create these teams. For letter/red/blue abilities, until they are otherwise posted, I will use the 2011 update. Then, I may just play a season with them, or record a watch game with a couple teams, who knows.

Anyway, that's what I have coming up, project-wise, sort of. It may not ramp up until the summer, but I'll keep you all posted with updates.

I had Rainbow Beach as potential Marlins stadium.

Sounds like what I'm doing, just through Success Mode.

I like it, I'll follow it once it goes down.

I'm working on the updates right now. To make it easy, I will default to the 2012 opening day 40-man rosters and post only the 2012 players who should replace the 2008 players on each respective roster. So, there will be 511 pitchers and 496 hitters, the Astros will have their 14 hitters, the Rangers will have their 20 pitchers, etc.

What should I do about the age/salary issue?

I'll make their ages in 2012 in the game. So if they're 22 in 2012, I'll make them 22 in the game. As for salaries, I'm not sure.

If you plan to edit and save to Arrange Mode, I will post the 2008 player you should edit to make the 2012 player, based on age/salary. That's easy to do.

OK. I guess that could be done. Thanks a lot!

Just got finished with the Tigers' 25-man roster (including Inge), and the fielders on the 40-man roster, including Victor Martinez. Working on getting 10 of the 12 pitchers on their 40-man done, and after that, I'll go to either the Rays or Marlins (not sure how I'm gonna do their new uniforms, though, advice may be necessary.)

EDIT: Got done with the entire 40-man roster; may or may not make a short unlisted video to show y'all the team.

I re-did the Marlins. Changed location to Miami, used fish creature logo, and went with the black hats w/ white "M" and black jerseys for both home (white pants) and away (gray pants). Can't remember what color sleeves (tropical orange, aqua, black?) and trim I used (white stripe on jersey, maybe lime green numbers w/ dark trim?), but the black jerseys look good. I tried the standard white jersey & pant w/ bright orange sleeve combo but it was hideous. Let me know if you want specific details for the trim, etc.

Marlins new uniforms (w/ orange tops @ home):

Home
5 Cap/brim
5 Sleeves etc
21 Shirt
1 Pants
5 Uni#
1 Uni# outline
0 Line type

Away
5 Cap/brim
5 Sleeves etc
5 Shirt
2 Pants
9 Uni#
1 Uni# outline
0 Line type
(might look better w/line type A, color 1)

Sorry for DP, but I have completed the 25-man roster of the Marlins, along with the AAA pitchers and 1/5 of the AAA fielders. May have the Marlins done by the end of the week.

EDIT: I have now completed the entire Marlins 40-man roster, may post a video showcasing both the edited Tigers and edited Marlins in a Watch game.

Sorry for another DP, but I'm gonna need some input on stadiums, mainly for the Mets and Twins (I think I can still get away with the old Yankee Stadium for the Yankees). I have a feeling that they will all have to share Panpaka Park with the Marlins, which is what I selected their ballpark to be. Any ideas?

Also, I realized that I'll need to edit the Blue Jays unis to make them look like this years' ones. Any thoughts on what colors to make them?

Not sure what to do about the stadiums, I guess Panpaka works if you want to avoid using a GreenApples/GoldenApples stadium. As for the jerseys, I'd go all white with blue sleeves for home, and all gray with blue sleeves for away, both with blue hats. I think that would work best.
