I'm looking all over the internet for a good rating for a pitchers "stuff" and pretty much the only thing I could find was from Baseball Prospectus and it's kind of vague. That and I can't find a formula for Peripheral ERA even though I know the ingredients (H/9, HR/9, BB/9, K/9). Anyway, if anyone has what they perceive to be a good formula for calculating "stuff" PLEASE COME FORWARD. I thought I'd seen someone on here talking about using "stuff" in some way but I can't seem to find it anywhere. ANYBODY with ANYTHING. I'll give it a try. I thought I could use the peripherals from above and figure something out for myself but I'm just not satisfied. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU.

Yeah, I thought I'd seen a something about it before and it may have been something he posted now that you mention it. I'm trying different things but getting nowhere. Thanks for a reply anyway.

I just use scouting reports (notably 60ft6in.com and Long Live Shea Stadium) and judge based on that.

I'm kind of looking for something I can use for any period of time. Otherwise, I'd probably make a spreadsheet using the charts from pitch f/x and a little google-ing. Thanks for the tip though. I knew about 60ft6in but not Long Live Shea. I will check it out now.
