Why are there 2 consistency abilities, one under fielding and one under pitching. I assume the pitching one means pitching consistency but does the fielding one actually mean fielding consistency? Does anyone know? |

I believe it's for hitting rather than fielding. I'm not sure though |

After looking through everybody in the game who does have consistency 4 or consistency 2 I've determined...nothing. Well, sort of. David Ortiz has it, Omar Vizquel does not. So I doubt its for fielding so I thought maybe it is for hitting. But guys like Joey Gathright and Mark Grudzielanek have it and Manny Ramirez and Derek Jeter did not. It appears that no pitchers have either a 2 or a 4. None that I saw. A couple of teams have one catcher with a 4 and the other with a 2. I really don't know what they meant with this category. Like I said before, I'd love to meet the developers and designers and ask what they did to arrive at these conclusions. |

Thanks, I've read over those wiki pages a hundred times. I get that it determines the effect condition has on a player. And the one under the pitching tab is clearly for pitchers. But the one under the fielding tab is the one I mean. Does that mean fielding consistency is affected? Or is it just a general "consistency" in that tab? I don't get it and looking at what the players in-game have, I still don't know. |

I can't say for sure, but I thought they referred to how easily they dropped to blue and purple moods and how long they stayed there before rebounding. Someone with a 2 will rarely get to pink and won't stay on red for long. |

No, I'm almost 100% sure that it only dictates how each condition affects them. It seems to me that players have conditions completely at random, but it could have something to do with rest. |
