So, I was watching a video from Machinima on YouTube, called Top 10 Cheats in Video Games, and of course, #1 was the famous Konami Code, which goes:

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A (and Start I think).

In that part of the video, they showed a montage of all the Konami (and non-Konami) games that had the Konami Code in it, and, yup, Power Pros 2008 was in that list.

So, I'm just wondering: can anyone try it out (it showed the Wii version, but I don't know if it can be done on PS2) and see what it does, if it works?

well when you do this you have to be in the main screen, which is after Derek Jeter screen, and pressing B while the code will put you back at the Jeter screen. So Im not sure if this will work.

Alvin's pitching form and the batting forms of Alvin, Patrick, and Mars can be unlocked with a code in 07, but it's not the Konami Code.

Is it ever explicitly given that it must be on this screen?

I have reason to believe it has to be on the Jeter screen. If I have time, I'll try it out today sometime.

MLB Power Pros (PS2), (Wii) – Entering the code on the "View or Delete Custom Players" display unlocks the ability to view MLB players in the Custom Players Menu.

I'm not sure, im assuming since last years was in the main menu. Someone try different places and see what happens
