I know I'm having trouble with this, and I think ChiCubsFan is too. So does anybody have any ideas on how I can lose more of the games I simulate in my Sluggers season? I'm on track to win 120+ games, very unrealistic for a team of rookies. So, does boosting the difficulty up help with that, or is there some other way, or ANY way? Any help from you guys would be appreciated, since I'm getting kinda desperate. |

I don't wanna trade my players, but maybe I should've given them worse abilities. |

More realistic PA distribution and W/L records can be achieved by setting all Arrange team lineups to "Best Condition" or whatever it is called. The starters will still play the majority of the time, but the role players will get more starts and, since they aren't as good (even when they are feeling good), you will lose more games. Also, forcing teams to sacrifice outs and play more small ball (squeeze, sac bunt, hit & run, etc) will keep scores a bit lower overall. Not a perfect solution, but it cuts down on the ridiculous sim scores. Like one game where the Reds scored 49 runs . . . and I wasn't even the Reds! |
