Post subject:  Please help, broken power pros

I am getting frustrated out of my mind with this thing

So I finish playing a power pros game wihtout issues then it starts to load and then the game says that the disk cannot be read
It works every time it doesn't load, then I choose something and then it loads and the game and wii just STOP
Whenever I wipe it with a wipe and then don't clean it up, it works but everything else doesn't.

Can someone please help me and I'm not in the mood for useless comments like i dont know or i'm not sure

whenever it says one of my files is corrupted, i always turn it off (after saving, if i must) and turn it back on again (NOT RESET).
Then it goes back to normal, and the file is safe.

OMG the exact same thing happened to my 2007 copy. I did the exact same methods, but no dice.

it seems to have absolutely no problems reading the disc when I put it in and then it says "now loading" and it just STOPS, I tried odd methods like flexing it and it actually worked but then it froze when it had to load again
This is the wierdest and most annoying thing that I've had to handle, with the wii at least

do you take care of your games if so then there is nothing wrong with the disk this is a system problem. your disk reader is dirty and you can get a cleaner at best buy for like 10 bucks

That really stinks. The one thing you can do is wipe Power Pros form your disk and try it then, but I don't think you want to risk it. Sounds like there's a problem with your Wii if it happened twice. Maybe you could bring it in to have someone look at it (no idea where you'd bring it in though).

The one thing I dont want to do in this situation is destroy my 2008 power pros memory, but I could try that with the 2007 version

Ok. One possibility also is to get an SD memory disk or whatever they're called and save your power pros memory to there. I'd try the disk at a friends house to see if it's the Wii or the disk. Hopefully the disk, because you might be able to get a replacement. I understand where you're coming from, I wouldn't delete it either.
Finally, you might want to just search on the internet to see if others have had similar problems. Don't look for Powerpros, but the Wii in general. There is probably some sort of tec support for the Wii, but tec support can be hell and it's better to find out through other ways. I don't really know how to fix the Wii so I'm not exactly an expert or anything, but those are my suggesstions.

I could try the SD card but my mom said she'll buy me one today because it should be relatively cheap....I hope

She checked today and said that there wasn't one in gamestop and the closest one was far away so I'm gonna wait for awhile

Check Best Buy or a camera store. Target and Wal-Mart have them sometimes too.

I ended up getting the game shipped but the interesting thing is that 2007 had troubles too, but that was only during a game. I thought that it was just an interesting fact
