Alright, i'm new to mlbpp, i mean i got it barely two weeks ago. I got the '07 version but was contemplating the '08 version. Then i go online and discover that the '09 version is about to come out, in Japan of course. So guys i own mlbpp '07, but should i buy '08 also or should i just wait for '09 to come out? Is there really a big difference between '07 & '08? :?:

Yes both are worth owning. Especially if you're for PS2 since its only 20 dollars. If you like Succes then I would reccommend it without a doubt.

its truly up to you. Its the same for both Wii and PS2. I got both and I dont regret it. I wanna get a PS2, I want MLB the Show.

I really like the whole create a player idea.... and success mode in the '07 version.

'08 success mode is pretty good as well. Life mode+a different success makes it worthwhile for me.

mlb life mode, while fun for a while, has quite a few flaws.
success mode is great, though at first it's harder to pass, you get used to it easily.
season mode is actually my favorite, I just love being the GM of any team, and making trades is so much fun.
Since we don't have a release date on '09, and since you have a PS2, you should get '08.

But remember, in success mode 09, it looks like you can be on 5 different teams,still I would get 08 to see the teams

i would say thats your call. stick with '07 if you've got a good season or RPG game going. if you want more updated rosters get '08 because '09 won't be released until after the all-star break if ever!! PLUS, you can get power pros '08 for only $10 used now!! that should hold you over until the new game is ever released :?
