 Post subject: What is a "no runner" game?

I find the stats they track a bit confusing. I wish I could find my average with runners in scoring position or WHIP, for example. But one of the global win/loss things the game seems to always keep track of is win/loss in no runner games. And I don't know what this means - no one stole a base? Is that considered a significant aspect of a game in Japan?

I think it means that there is no runners on base at the end of the inning. This means if you give up at walk or hit you need a double play. 2 means triple play. 3 is impossible. In other words, each batter gets to bat 3 times only.

I don't think that can be it. I have a lot of no runner games on my record, and I don't normally manage to do that well pitching.
