Post subject: | What is the arm action of non-changeup downward break balls? |
I was reading the wiki and noticed that the changeup is the only pitch that has the same delivery as a 4seam without good delivery. Does this mean that things like circle changeups and palm balls have breaking ball delivery? Forkballs? What about 2seam fastballs? Edit: I guess what I'm asking is if I was reading the wiki wrong, or if it was wrong itself. |

Well, I'd assume they have BB delivery. If CHG is the ONLY one...I don't know. ![]() ![]() |

Yes, when pitchers throw breaking balls they have less arm action and hold on to the ball slightly longer. As far as I know the 2SFB counts as a breaking ball in the game, per Japanese classification (if it breaks, it's a "breaking ball"). |
