Japan may not repeat, and American won't go far in this one. I did the Dom REP team and they are STACKED In the main areas of batters they are a C average in everything. This one I don't think the americans have a chance and canada is upping the ante.

pujols is in it according to the websites provisional list.

i don't think the US is gonna do that well, we'll be lucky if we do. I figure the final will be Japan vs the DR.

hey chee, did you make the WBC teams w/ the actual players and accurate skills/abilities? just wondering how you did that

yeah those WBC thread are mostly if not all mine. I tried my best by looking at the provisonal rosters (I did the season before the deadline), it was mostly accurate about who played for what MLB team. I did a player search and whoever was from asia (japan, china, korea other) wound up on my japanese team. DR and PR were easy, the only hard part about PR was they had 10 catchers. I did it to get a feel for what would happen.

Japan lost to america by one game and the DR was third, the weirdest part to me was PR they were 65+ games out of it, italy was 17 games out, very weird. This was a 165 game with 3 game series element. The only reason america won was because America played Italy and Japan played the DR.

PR has 10 catchers??!

oh, i need to sign up for that team when i get a chance!

lol I did a search for PR and they had a lot of catchers

the real player that i did a log of is actually playing for italy! I might restart that log soon!
