a popular topic since power pros' inception, we all know that the stateside version of power pros has always been without online play. but did you know that the original japanese version has had online gaming since 03?? here are the first games in the series that had online mode:

Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball 10 (for PS2 & Game Cube) - released July 17, 2003




Power Pro Kun Pocket 8 （for DS） - released December 1, 2005


that's not to mention a PC version of the game with online capabilities back in 2001...
besides completely boycotting the company, there's gotta be another way for die hard power pro gamers to get 2K's attention and get them to raise the bar for this year's installment! one idea is to purchase the new pawapuro game. question is, is it even possible to play online with an import game? in all honesty, 2K can't possibly tell us that we are asking too much when all we want are the same modes and features that the original series has had for years. isn't it enough that we are basically a non-priority to 2K and that we don't get our new game until sometime during the NFL preseason?!

no more stripped down and demo versions 2K, and full features now!!!!

We can maybe create a giant petition and get all of the forumers here to sign or, than we'd send it to 2K and go from there.

Something like that happened a few years back when Nintendo was sent a petition with at least 30,000 signatures from Starmen.net, who wanted Nintendo to make Mother 3 (Earthbound 2). Shocking, they did, but they f***ed us over by releasing it only in Japan, but what are the odds of that happening?

that's a great idea. i started a petition thread over at the 2K forums. i also added the MLBPPWorld petition list. seeing as what 2K's track record is over the last 2 years w/ our game, it's a long shot that this will make them budge but IMO it's worth the few minutes to log in or sign up to their forums and add your name. let's see if they will even let us keep the thread up.. i think they may have suspended my original account on their forums maybe because i had a few posts on this very topic that they didn't agree with...
let's get the ball rolling!
